Udaipur - Venice of the East
On your travel,You’ve probably heard the phrase ‘Venice of the East’
at least once. It’s an expression commonly batted around by tourist
boards – everywhere from Malaysia to Philippines – because it adds
a sense of continental blaze.
For me, the only city that can truly own the name is Udaipur. It’s a lakeside
paradise of glittering marble, gushing romance and a magical feel you will
not find anywhere else in India.
Erotic and peculiar ,Udaipur will make you fall in love at first sight. Udaipur is
a roof over to Rajputana forts, fancy palaces, magnificent temples, engaged
markets , impressive architecture , peaceful lakes and most romantic sunsets.
The city has become a very favourable destination for marriages , thanks
to all bollywood and hollywood movies that have been shot here.
Udaipur city is truly a paradise for travellers and honestly speaking Rajasthan
had been on my list ever since I read about it in my history books. Fantasizing
about the raja-maharajas, their heritage and cultural sonority , I always wanted
to experience the royalty of Rajasthan. So here it is : A Complete Travel Guide
that is surely going to leave a desire in you to visit Udaipur.

Best time to visit :

It’s really hot in here during the summers and can be really brutal.I will suggest
to visit Udaipur between October – March. The winter season holds many
regional festivals mainly the Mewar Festival which is surely not to be missed
or skipped. The festival takes place in the month of March.
